maintaining translation memory databases.
TMX stands for Translation Memory eXchange, a standard
originated by the OSCAR (Open Standards for
Container/Content Allowing Re-use) committee. It is a
vendor-neutral, open standard for storing and exchanging
translation memories created by Computer Aided Translation
(CAT) and localisation tools. It allows for easier exchange
of translation memory data between tools and/or translation
vendors.
The Heartsome proprietary TMX Editor simplifies and
streamlines all translation memory database maintenance
works.
